CRM For Franchises

Before Lead PPC became the dominant PPC agency for franchises that it is today, I started initially in CRM consulting.  Some of the CRMs that I did consulting work on included Infusionsoft, Salesforce, Zoho, Hubspot and other marketing and sales related CRMs.  If you’re looking for a CRM For Franchises, I’ve definitely got some opinions on which ones are solid and which ones are… not quite as good.

As far as the most common CRM for franchises that we’ve run into across the 250+ franchise brands that we’ve worked with, the most dominant one is probably actually FranConnect.  It’s not my favorite CRM, but it is industry specific.  My least favorite thing is that they don’t really have an API to send leads through.  And, they don’t even have web hooks.  But, they do have an email parsing system (probably something like Email2DB on the backend) that takes email receipts and then stuffs them into their CRM.  On the flip side, their software does have a good franchise sales pipeline system and I think even some virtual brochure types of options, so it is nice that they serve the greater franchising community.

After FranConnect, it seems like people either use Hubspot (which isn’t cheap but has good marketing automation), Salesforce (which is probably the most solid CRM but costs a lot per seat), or Zoho (which is all around extremely affordable and versatile).

We also get a lot of newer franchisors that just choose to use Google Sheets initially to keep track of their leads as they come through, which can totally work if you’re strapped for cash and need to drive more revenue and sales before you can afford a CRM.

Our main focus here at Lead PPC is franchise leads and franchise lead generation.

Why Choose A CRM For Franchises?

Franchises face an increasingly complex landscape of customer management. The ability to track, manage, and analyze customer interactions and data across the customer lifecycle is crucial to driving sales and fostering customer loyalty. This is where a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system plays its part.

A CRM system is not merely a tool but a comprehensive strategy for managing all your company’s relationships and interactions with potential and existing customers. It enhances efficiency, improves customer service, and boosts profitability. Let’s delve into why franchises should consider leveraging a CRM for sales.

Enhanced Data Organization

A CRM system provides a centralized platform where all customer-related data is stored and easily accessible. This organized data structure allows franchises to identify sales opportunities, track performance, and leverage data-driven insights to strategize their sales process.

Improved Customer Service

With a CRM, franchises can track every interaction with customers, allowing for personalized service and targeted communication. This results in improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, which ultimately drive sales.

Increased Efficiency

A CRM streamlines the sales process by automating tasks such as contact management, lead tracking, and performance analysis. This increased efficiency allows franchises to focus more on selling and less on administrative tasks.

Profitability and Growth

By providing insight into customer behavior and sales trends, a CRM equips franchises with the necessary data to make informed business decisions. This data-driven approach leads to increased sales and revenue growth.

In conclusion, a CRM system is a valuable tool for franchises. It offers a multitude of benefits, from improved organization and efficiency to enhanced customer service and profitability. Therefore, franchises that aim to optimize their sales processes and drive growth should seriously consider adopting a CRM system.
